The Toxins You Can’t See—and the Power You Still Have
Graduate training in Environmental Health didn’t just teach me about toxins or exposure—it rewired how I think about risk, prevention, and the subtle forces shaping our health.
One study hit me hard: the Nurses’ Health Study (Laden et al., 2001), which asked whether chemicals like DDT and PCBs—now banned but still lingering in our bodies and soil—were linked to breast cancer.
The verdict? No statistically significant link. At least, not the kind that would make headlines or change policy.
It felt like a relief—until it didn’t. Because that’s when I realized: the biggest lesson wasn’t in the findings. It was in what we might be missing.
That class didn’t just teach me how to read data—it taught me how to read between the lines. About the blind spots in public health. About how your ZIP code, job, or morning routine can silently shape your toxic burden. About how entire communities carry the weight of exposures they never chose.
That’s the moment my academic training collided with a deeper calling: to help people translate science into choices that actually matter.
Today, I work with high-performers and teams not just to boost energy—but to cut through the noise. The mental kind. And the chemical kind.
We ask bigger questions:
Is your skincare quietly messing with your hormones?
Is that 3pm crash really about carbs—or your office air quality?
Feeling wired but tired? What role does your lighting (or your device habits) play?
This is the kind of wellness that goes beyond routines. That cuts the overwhelm instead of adding to it. That treats your body not as a machine to hack—but as a responsive, intelligent system reacting to thousands of micro-signals every day.
Environmental Health taught me this: you don’t need total control to reclaim your health.
You need clarity. Strategy. And someone who can translate complex science into clear, livable action.
That’s what I do. That’s why I’m here.
Let’s strip away what’s unnecessary—so you can focus on what moves the needle. One grounded decision at a time.
